I experimented with many different aspects of photography (Landscape, Natural History, Freelance Press, Sports Photography, Aerial Photography etc.) I eventually concluded that my forte was Social Photography and specifically Portrait Photography.

This part of the website, not only tells the story of how I went through that period of discovery, but also tells you how and where I made money by taking pictures. All the money making photographic ventures I talk about on this website are based upon my experience of when I was a part-time amateur photographer. I doing this I wanted to provide realistic inspiration to those of you who perhaps just want to earn some extra cash rather than give up the day job.

I have to say that some aspects of photography were more profitable for me that others. Nevertheless, I have tried to be honest in my own self-assessment of what worked for me and why.

There was one piece of very good advice I was given by the late Eric Freeborn FRPS and that was "you will only take good photographs of things you like photographing". How it try this proved for me.

I have initially included articles primarily about Social Photography. However, I do intend to further develop this website and include articles on the following too :
