LEARN THE PROFESSIONAL SECRETS AND MAKE CASH FROM YOUR CAMERA
Hello, my name is Robert Clark. I am a retired professional photographer and I have set up this website for the benefit of my fellow photographers - amateur and professional alike.
EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER EXPLAINS TRICKS OF THE TRADE
Through the pages of this website, and supported by a series of e-Books, I will reveal the various tricks of the trade that I have learned over the years which I would like you to profit from too.
I will take you along the path that I took through a variety of different money generating photographic opportunities. One scenario I'll tell you about regularly earned me over a £1000 in just a few hours.
HOWEVER, I MUST STRESS, THAT THE CONTENT OF THIS WEBSITE HAS NOT BEEN PUT TOGETHER BY A RESEARCHER WORKING IN AN OFFICE. IT IS BASED UPON MY OWN PERSONAL PHOTOGRAPHIC EXPERIENCE OVER MANY YEARS !!
Along the way, I also used Photo Libraries and submitted wildlife, landscape and, theatrical photographic samples. Finally, I reached my own photographic destination, in the shape of portrait and weddings photography.
I am very grateful that along the way I had the privilege and the pleasure of studying under two of the UK's leading social photographers - Dennis Hylander and Warren Schaffer. This opportunity completely transformed my photography and took it into a totally new dimension.

However, I do feel that right from the outset I should stress that this is not a “get rich quick” venture.
That said, there is definitely good money to be made in photography if you go about it the right way.
I started out as a keen amateur photographer with just a “point and press” camera. I went onto develop a very successful part time photography business that was generating me a nice bit of extra income.

In fact, perhaps that is an understatement as there were occasions back
in the 1980’s when, as a part time photographer, I was frequently
generating over
£1,000 sterling a day
by working with my camera for just a few hours in the evenings.
Even now in the 21st century, I would suggest to you that that is
still good money – let alone back in the 1980’s !!

I accept that not everyone necessarily has aspirations of becoming a full time photographer – I certainly didn’t !! In fact one of the things I liked about being a keen amateur photographer was that, within reason, I could work when it suited both me and my family. But when redundancy from the day job was staring me in the face, at the ripe old age of 40, I turned professional and went onto to enjoy some of the most job satisfying days of my working life.

I have put together this website to share my story and experiences (warts and all) that took me along my photographic path. I have intentionally focused on my early years as an amateur photographer to show you what you too can strive to achieve in your spare time too and at the very least, make you hobby pay for itself. That said, there may be some tips that even the professional photographers can benefit from too.
I’ll tell you about how I got the Taxman to agree to a week on the sunny Mediterranean island of Malta - on expenses.

Please take a look around the site – it’s free - and you will find :
- the story of how I went from that simple"point and click" camera and not having a clue about photography to setting up my own photographic business
- an abundance of useful photographic information and articles
- examples of my work from my time as an amateur photographer. Work I used incidentally to gain Licentiateship distinctions from the Royal Photographic Society and, later, when I turned professional, the Master Photographers Association
- explanations about the various techniques that I used
- how to deal with not having a portfolio of your work to show prospective clients

One of a number of subjects I photographed over
the course of a weekend to put together a portfolio
- we'll look at the business side of things - how to find commissions and how to sell your work. Let’s face it, it doesn’t matter how good your photographic capabilities are, if you can’t find work, you’ll never realise your full potential
- I’ll talk about some of the horror stories that happened to me along the way.
- I will from time to time be updating the site with articles some of which will be from guest “speakers” who perhaps specialise in areas of photography that I never ventured into but nevertheless may well be appealing to you.
- you will be able to sign-up for a free newsletter
- and finally, you will also find some useful free downloads that will be yours to use as you please
